LAUNCHING A NEW COMPANY
VECTRA BANKING CORPORATION

One of our principals planned and managed public relations surrounding the start-up, property acquisition, securities filings and eventual rollout of Vectra Banking Corporation, then Colorado’s first new banking firm in several decades.

Initial work, during the period in which the new corporation was being formed and bank properties acquired, consisted of an unusual task: Keeping the enterprise out of the public spotlight to avoid tipping competitors and bidding up the price of banking properties.

Once the proper foundation had been established, work turned toward more conventional public relations and marketing communications. Vectra became a highly successful independent banking company and recently met one of its original corporate objectives when the company was merged.
